Well, it`s officially summer holiday time. I know that because we`re not all that busy right now, however I`ve got a few jewellery tips for you when you are out and about and perhaps travelling this summer.
Do not wear your jewellery when you or going into yours or anyone else`s swimming pool. The chemicals and especially the chlorine is very unforgiving to your gold and silver jewellery. It will make your jewellery turn black and you will probably freak out. We can polish it and bring it back to life but is it really worth it. Leave your precious gems at home in a safe place where you won`t forget where you have put it. If you must where your jewellery, get it checked first to make sure your stones are all in there and tight and your clasps are in good operating condition so you won`t lose your bracelets and chains. Also, if your wearing stud earrings or any other earrings for that matter, make sure the butterflys are tight and whatever closures you have keeping them on your earring are really snug.
Other than that, have a great summer!!
