June 3rd.

Today is Wednesday. It is the middle day of the week, 154th day of the year, and the 23rd week of the year (assuming each week starts on a Sunday). On this day in history, Canadian sportscaster Ron MacLean saved a man from drowning in the Delaware River in Philadelphia (2010),”Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” released in France (1987), Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” goes gold (1976), Canada announces it will replace silver with nickel in coins (1968), Rolling Stones begin 1st US tour (with Bobby Goldsboro & Bobby Vee) (1964), and US President Eisenhower routes Canadian premier Diefenbaker a message off the Moon (1959).
Today also marks the birthdays of Tony Curtis, Rafael Nadal and Anderson Cooper.
So………what’s the relevancy here? Well, in case you don’t have facebook, like myself, then you might not know that today, June 3rd, is my husband’s, Phil Pancer’s birthday. Just thought I would share some meaningful events, (can you call them all meaningful), in Phil’s life and that coincide with his big day.
Hope you make those significant in your life feel special on their big day. And don’t ask me how old he is, let’s just say, he’s way older than me.
Happy Birthday, Phil.
